Great stay again at the Days Inn in Strathmore. The first night wasn't great because of a noisy upstairs neighbour. I asked Bailee at the front desk if I could change to a top floor room. She immediately found me a great room on the top floor and made sure I had an additional blanket because I had been cold the night before. I was able to immediately move to the new room before I left the hotel for a workshop. Kudos to her!
This is good place comparing the price. If they can place a few picnic table around will be great especially for the travelers who love eat outside with own food. The staffs are all nice. But it looks the guesses are out of control. A crowed teenagers are crazing in the pool and ignoring the rules. A group of Indian are very noisy in the cafeteria. All others are good. Close to Walmart and gas stations and restaurants.
Almost everything I could really ask for in a hotel. Especially at this price range. Got a pool, and free breakfast with some not bad protein options. Plus Wyndham has some pretty good promotions going on if you are a member. It would be nice to have a central ceiling light in the room. But for some reason the hotels don't seem to like doing that. If it had TV that had Netflix and such.
Super convenient from town, and walking distance to stores. Had good amenities especially for the price. Super quiet too - the beds were super cozy. And really nice to have the kitchenette!
Let me respond to a lot of the complaints about this place: the pillows are not small. The staff wrap them tight in the pillow case. Relax. They're normal pillows. The pool has a pea gravel textured floor. Calm down, Karen, it's not actually cutting your kids feet unless you're letting them run around like neanderthals. You'd also complain if the floor was smooth and your kid cracked their head open because you let them run around. It's a clean place, quiet even though it was fully booked. The staff are all very helpful and nice. The breakfast could use some work, but what do you do if you don't have a full cooking staff?
Decided to have a couple days off away from home (Locals) to relax and enjoy the pool/ hot tub. Great time and staff was friendly and helpful.
The location to many places to eat, shop and fuel up was great. Everything was within walking distance of you wanted. The rooms were really clean and well kept, much appreciated after a long day on the road. Breakfast was awesome, a bit crowded, but absolutely manageable. Wish the pool and hot tub were maybe open until 11, but that was really our only complaint. I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful, Clean rooms and quiet (no noise from the highway). The staff was wonderful and check in may have been the fastest I’ve ever experienced! A great place to stay in Strathmore.
